Treatment Day

On treatment day itself, Hans had to be there early. "Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I spoke with the doctor again and she told me again what was in store for me that day and what the expectations were. During the morning session I was shaved bald, my head was numbed and all the hair follicles were collected. In the afternoon, I was surrounded by several hair transplant assistants who neatly placed the hair follicles (2,055 grafts to be exact) back on the crown and front line of my forehead. The only thing that actually hurt a little for me was the anesthesia. It can best be compared to dental anesthesia."

Positive reactions from surroundings

Fortunately, Zantman Clinic notices that fewer and fewer men see a hair transplant as a taboo and that those around them do not make it a problem. Not everyone will notice a hair transplant right away. What will be seen is that your hairstyle is a little shorter than normal for a while. So I am quietly and curiously waiting for the next checkup appointment and of course hoping that that crown will be a bit fuller by then."
