At Zantman Clinic , you pay only for the number of grafts actually and successfully placed during the procedure. The prices listed include aftercare products and check-up appointments.

De prijs van een behandeling ligt tussen de €3.250 voor een kleine behandeling van bijvoorbeeld 500 grafts en €6.015 voor een grote behandeling van bijvoorbeeld 2250 grafts. Indeed, a fixed price for a high number of grafts, regardless of the actual number of grafts transplanted, can cause unpleasant surprises. This kind of advice and treatment makes the treatment seem cheap, but it is paid dearly. Moreover, a cheap hair transplant can unfortunately cause permanent damage if an eye for care is lost with the focus on numbers. The scenarios that could have been better avoided at all times are:

1. The number of grafts is taken out, but not successfully reinserted. It may be that the grafts are not placed at all, in which case there would really be an abuse. You would then do well to report this to the Clinic management or complaint officer. It could also be that sloppy placement causes the graft to be damaged or not placed properly. A third cause may be that the treatment takes too long and the grafts are out of the skin for too long and therefore become damaged. In all cases, you pay for non-transplanted grafts and precious grafts are lost. This is very painful, considering that most people have 3000 - 7000 grafts available to treat (future) hair loss problems. When that material is lost, it is irreparable.
2. The number of grafts is extracted, but not carefully placed. In order to place large numbers in a short time and sometimes in a relatively small treatment area, an unnatural (straight) method of implantation is chosen. This way, many grafts can easily fit per square centimeter, but the result looks artificial.

Two more scenarios are possible, which fortunately do not harm the grafts or the outcome, but are equally detrimental:

1. The number of grafts is not extracted because of an over-advised number. A large difference in advised and actual transplanted grafts can be quite expensive. You then pay for grafts not placed.
2. The number of grafts is not achieved due to medical reasons. A hair transplant is a medical procedure, and for a variety of medical reasons it may not succeed in transplanting the advised target number. The cost of the medical risk then lies with the client.

There are several responsible ways to lower the price of a hair transplant:

1. Choose an experienced Clinic you trust: While this may seem expensive, it can ultimately save costs by reducing the risk of complications and misunderstandings. Complications can lead to additional costs for corrective procedures or irreparable damage.
2. Choose another transplant method: There are different techniques for hair transplants. More complex hair transplants such as an FUE hair saving are generally more expensive.
3. Go for a larger transplant: Usually, the price per graft is lower with a larger treatment. Therefore, you may consider waiting until the hair loss continues and schedule a larger transplant at once. 
4. Go for a smaller transplant: Conversely, by going for a smaller transplant and scheduling another session later, you can spread the cost over several years. A side note then is that this will raise the price per graft, not lower it, so this is not the cheapest approach.
5. Take advantage of offers: Sometimes it is possible to schedule a treatment cheaper on certain dates, such as a Last Minute date.
